Christmas time on our road

This morning on my daily walk I was enjoying immensely the fine sunny weather and I could feel the Christmas hustle and bustle going on around me, plenty of traffic, lots of holiday homes being built, 2 cruise ships in port.

I don't know about you but i can't wait for a good break and 2 weeks of time off.  I have 7 days to go until I finish work for the year - woo hooo!

Linking up with Skywatch Friday this week :-)

A well deserved rest on its way and hopefully lots of festivities to look forward to.

I can tell you're in countdown mode!! I like that second shot with the wispy clouds. Pretty skies!

I don't need a reminder of how much I enjoy being retired! But I can still remember how much I looked forward to that break at the end of a year. Hope you enjoy yours!

Just had to pop back to say yes, I have been to Gibbs Farm and it is fantastic. Do visit if ever you have a chance. This is my post after I went there. http://paulinespaddock.blogspot.co.nz/search/label/Allan%20Gibbs
