Fruit pickers

New Zealand has alot of people from other countries, especially from Fiji and the Pacific Islands who spend a few months here and there helping to pick fruit at different orchards. In Kerikeri there are orange orchards and avocado orchards just to name 2 and the money the people earn is quite often sent home to their families.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's Signs.

That happens here and in California too but the pickers are usually from Mexico here.

Same here. Most of the people who work in the fields and glass houses are from India or Pakistan.

This does remind me of migrant workers or OFW's from the Philippines. It is hard labor but the pay is ok, I heard.

hard work (and life).
Greetings and Salutations! Excellent street photography.
I didn't know this and enjoyed learning it. Migrants work so hard here performing jobs usually that citizens don't want to do . I guess that is true for NZ as well. Great photography.
