Overcast

Much of November so far here has been overcast with the odd sunny day but mostly cloudy with showers of rain - so not very interesting for example today we have thunderstorms forecast. We are hoping that come December the skies and temperatures will be a lot more warmer.

I've just about finished filling up a Christmas box for my only grandchild who lives in Auckland. Last time I put in goodies like play doh and a kids kitchen toaster - this time there is a pretend pizza for her kitchen, a chef's outfit, butterfly wings and books. There seem to be so many things to buy for kids these days, more of a selection than what I had back in the day.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's Signs.

Grey days seem to affect my mood.

Overcast here with volcanic ash blown over from the eruption of a volcano in Ethiopia!
It's gray and rainy here in the Netherlands today. Yesterday we had fog almost all day, which is more interesting for photography than rain.

It's fun getting together a Xmas present for a grandchild. More so when it's a granddaughter. I'm sure she'll love everything.

We had overcast last week and I hear we will be getting more overcast next week. This week we had sunshine so I'm thankful for that.

It's fun getting stuff for a child's Christmas.
It often looks like this in Michigan in November

I’ve got to start the dreaded shopping for presents soon too. Knowing what to buy is a problem as the kids get older.

Overcast with snow squalls here. Like seeing something green like in your photo.
Done a little shopping for the Grandchildren. Snow came finely in North Idaho.

Here in tropical Malaysia it’s almost always blue skies, so your overcast days and thunderstorms feel a world away. Your Christmas box for your granddaughter sounds so sweet — she’s going to love all those fun pretend-play gifts!
