Blue skies

There have been plenty of tourists and families out and about enjoying the blue skies on the West Coast. B and I decided that apart from spending a week in Auckland in June visiting my grand daughter and other family, we also booked a week in Picton in October as we only drove through there when we moved to Greymouth 4 years ago. So fingers crossed we will have good weather.

Lastly this week I'm thankful for our stinking hot Summer days which seem to have hit us late in the season.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday, Thankful Thursday and Tom's Signs.

We've just had some stinking hot days as well. Now I'm back in jeans and cardy. Oh well, we still have a couple of weeks of summer so you never know...

How lovely to read about Auckland and Picton – it reminds me so much of our amazing trip in 2024 🤩. We only briefly visited both cities, but we had a wonderful time in New Zealand... If you'd like to know more, here's my 2024 travelogue:

And thank you so much for your kind words about my recent travelogue about British Columbia.
All the best from Austria, Traude

I was curious about the shop. It sounds like a fascinating place. I'd not heard of New Zealand greenstone. Your weather looks so inviting!
