Girl

Photo taken of a girl on Orewa Beach last year

It seems that we have had a great late Summer finally happen. After all the rain and Spring temperatures we now have warmth and sun and heat. I have pumpkins growing in my vege garden along with kale, spinach and various herbs and they are loving it. I'm not looking forward to Winter but with Autumn due in March, we are feeling a definite slight change in the air in the early mornings.

Hi Amy -- I like your new place (I will scroll back in a minute to see how long you've been hanging out at this address -- I am so far behind on reading after my long "vacation" from blogland. I'm glad to see you again and your late summer looks and sounds wonderful. And has me wishing I had good fresh from the garden spinach and herbs (I can't really get either even at the farm markets here in Florida.)

You'll soon be enjoying pumpkin soup. Not too soon I hope. March is awfully close

Gorgeous photo. Your garden sounds productive - I've pumpkins, kale and silverbeet (and crossing my fingers for some yams).

Mooie foto van die strandscène.
Hier sleept de winter voort, met opnieuw sneeuw op komst.
Groeten van de andere kant van de wereld.

Your photo of this warm, inviting beach makes us yearn for the warmth of spring. Those small waves might not be enough to entertain a surf board rider. Wonderful sky and reflections.

At last the garden is basking in the warmth it’s been waiting for, though those crisp early mornings are a gentle reminder that autumn is quietly tapping at the door

That's a lovely shot. I wouldn't mind being there now! Or earlier, it's probably dark by this time there. Thanks for joining in with your shadows.

As you head into fall, we will be heading into spring. I wish I could walk into that photo and feel the sun. Lucky girl! (Loved the clouds, too.)
