The last full moon of 2019

Last week saw our last full moon for 2019. For us it was the brightest and most vibrant I've seen in a long time as it crept up above our neighbour's roof into the sky. For something different I drove down to our local estuary and parked near the boat ramp.  The water was so still and quiet as the tide slowly lapped the sand.

Here's to next year's moons of 2020.

Good Morning Mr Moon

I love mornings like this when I can grab my camera and get a good shot of the moon. Our Spring equinox was on September 23rd, around the time I took this photo. Days are slowly getting longer, mornings lighter.

Apart from being able to get outside more for my walks I've been accompanying my youngest on his driving lessons. Here in NZ if you have a learner licence you have to have someone who's had their full licence for 2 years or more next to you in the car when you go out driving. He's getting more confident and hopefully he will go for his restricted licence soon.

Winter full moon magic...

So...after taking a brief break away from here I'm back feeling alot more renewed. Last time I posted I was only just getting over a bad dose of the flu, well the other half ended up with it too and I've been going to a few job interviews so it's been pretty busy. Unfortunately one job wanted someone with more corporate background experience and another wanted someone with a background in the private Hospital industry so I lucked out. All I can do is keep trying and sometimes being at home drives me up the wall but last night through the lounge window I saw this lovely purple pink sky with a full moon proudly showing itself off to me.

There's something about sunsets, skies and moons that makes me feel renewed and refreshed...here's hoping for a better week to come :-)
