My parents flew home yesterday morning after visiting here for the last week so B and I drove them around town and to some other places. We also took them down to the local fishing wharf we we watched this man fishing off the rocks. He caught a baby shark while we were there and we were pleased that he threw it back in the water.

Fishing takes skill and patience. Great experience
Looks like a nice place to fish.
The river looks nice and calm there. Not far from the bar? I love your header photo.
Glad he threw it back in.

Lucky baby shark!
I hate to sound dumb, but are shark edible? I don't recall ever seeing it offered at stores or restaurants.

yes you can, it's like an asian delicacy shark fin soup but personally i find it horrible for the shark so most people stay away from it
Elephant fish (or ghost shark) is very good eating and some times in fish and chips here.
Looks like a good place to fish.
