Sunday morning was the annual event of the Greymouth Street Sprints in which local car owners and those from surrounding towns and cities race around blocked off streets in town. It's a huge fun thing to go and watch. The photos above were of only a small selection of cars that were there and the video below shows some of them doing burn outs around corners. The local council every year give the approval for this.
