Autumn is in full swing here on the West Coast. On one particularly blustery windy day I walked next door from my work to a cafe/bakery to buy myself a coffee, this place is always busy as they make awesome food - lots of buns, cakes, biscuits, filled rolls, hot pies etc. I'm surprised to see so many campers still driving around given the current petrol situation. Apparently a load of diesel has recently arrived into New Zealand but my car uses normal 91/regular but at least it doesn't use much, it's a very economical car.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup.

Thank goodness we changed our car last year for a smaller one. It's very economical.
Enjoy your coffee and those buns and pies

Electric cars are starting to become attractive with the high fuel prices. But unfortunately, my budget does not allow for that replacement.

Who gets papers these days?

It´s a shame with the petrol prices. I can do everything on foot but Ingo has to drive 40km one way to work.
But then... stop traveling is no option for campers, is it. Sometimes, though, we stayed (for the love of the place) for weeks. Perth Carnarvon, Broome, Darwin... Ahh, sweet memories!

...I'm glad that I just bought a hybrid, I get 40miles/gallon.

How wonderfully strange to think that autumn is just beginning somewhere in our world even as we’re experiencing spring in full bloom here.

No newspapers around here but when you do see them lots of older folks are the ones who buy them. So glad that I don't own a vehicle, the price of petrol is way too high.

Autumn days with coffee and fresh bakery treats sound perfect.
Glad your car is economical-- it makes these fuel challenges a bit easier to handle.
