Bits and pieces of Autumn scenery in the Greymouth town square. Not many people around as it had just stopped raining.
This is the start of the hibernating season for me; time to crochet blankets, wearing slippers around the house, ponder starting the fire on cold days, taking vitamins to prevent getting sick and finding some good books and movies to get into.

It does indeed look deserted and rainy.
It is spring here, but for the time being it seems to be autumn. The average temperature in May is around 17°C; today it did not get warmer than 11°C. And it looks like it will stay that way for a while.

Hibernation sounds like the right word and the perfect state of mind for Fall.
Greymouth is looking up to its name. Agloomy grey day. Hibernation is wonderful after a busy summer. But I'm happy to be waking up and enjoying our warmer days.
Truly hibernating
...I love autumn, but at the moment, I'm happy enjoying spring!
7C, rainy here. I have a warmie on my lap... Spring??? No.
Always a bit odd with the reminders that the seasons are different on the opposite side of the globe! Hope you can enjoy the "cosy" side of it! ;)
Autumn is special and often very beautiful. I love all the colours and when the ground is covered with frost.
We had a hot day yesterday. The first of many. I love spring and I love fall. Some of summer is just too hot. Enjoy the cooler weather.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
