Roof

I was filling up my car with petrol last week and further down the road I saw these 2 men working on replacing a roof on one of the nearby houses. A huge percentage of houses in my town are vintage/retro and Victorian in style. Now that we are in mid Autumn it's probably a good time to do this before Winter comes in June.

Linking up with Weekend ReflectionsShadow Shot Sunday and The Weekend Roundup.

Looks as though well overdue.

I'll never not admire tradespeople who build and maintain structures.

Workers have been working on my apartment roof and painting all week and probably next. It's better to see it in a picture.☺️

It's good roofing weather. We've had neighbour's on both sides mending or replacing their's recently.

The best time to get this done before winter weather sets in.

It´s right about the time for some roofing there. Looks like a nice day to do some.

Hope they finish it before the rains start again

we haven't really had much rain, just a few days so it's very dry here.

Hopefully they'll be done before the weather changes.

Amy I always think that roofers have a very dangerous job. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

Hope they don't get any rain until the job is finished!

That is an "old school" roof.

Yes, it does seem like a good time. Almost waited too late.

a roof is not much good if it lets the rain in...
