I think every person in New Zealand is looking forward to Summer. Last year over Spring it rained just about every day. This year we've had big dumps of rain at least once a week. Roll on warmer weather.
Halloween has come and gone here, we usually don't have trick or treaters as we live just out of town so it was a very quiet night.

At the moment we need rain but you've had enough! Let's all have some sunshine
Here on the other side of the world, we're having a wet autumn. In October, we had double the normal amount of rain. I hope we'll have a nice, cold winter.
It will be so nice when the sun comes out again.
It's been so rough for you guys the last few days - hopefully the worst is over. That woman being blown into the street was horrifying.

I hope you continue to have some rain throughout the summer. It was much to dry here last summer,
Let's trade. :) It still feels like summer here. I'm hoping for cooler weather and some rain.
Lovely street photo.
Here in Mumbai too we've been having unseasonal rains messing up various crops.
Ah, warmer weather. It'll be a while here. :-)
...rain makes everything green.
And here it is warmer then normal but a pity with a lot of rain.
Really good rain picture, Marj.
My answers to have I been to New Zealand is Yes, we came in 1913 on a cruise down the east coast. I enjoyed Christchurch the most. My grandmother was a Fletcher as was your Fletcher construction company that was revamping the hospital damage after the big storm. We also visited the U.S
Antarctica prep facility.
Our summer seems to have come a bit early but not too much rain as yet. Hope you have a great summer this year. You are due it. Have a lovely week ahead
The weather seems to be out of balance everywhere. The ground looks slick but I like the shadows.
I love the energy of your photo, the reflections from the rain really amps it up also. Nice!
They're enjoying it so much they don't seem to be giving a care they are getting wet. That's how I feel with the first rain after summer.
