I quite often see this particular driver around town, he comes into my work and I know that those in this industry work long hours. I wouldn't want to do it myself.
We are starting to see early Autumn here, the mornings are becoming darker now that daylight savings is here and the air is getting chilly. We still don't have the mink blanket or the electric blanket on the bed but no doubt those won't be far off.
Much of the country has been covered in storms in flooding but strangely enough, the West Coast where we are is fine (as usual but it has a reputation for getting too much rain when it doesn't). I'm thankful we are ok here and have no flooding.
This was our morning sky yesterday morning. Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning...

We have a fave delivery person!
There's a red courier van like that here too. It's a woman driver. She's amazing, especially when backing onto the car ferry.
The shift into autumn is making its presence felt—cooler mornings and longer nights always make me appreciate the comfort of a warm blanket even more
...take care and be well!
Would not be my dream-job, either! Oh, right, we switch to summer time this weekend!
PS. We´re back - I just have so many pics to share. And yes, I hate the cold!
The Smartrider card for adults is AUD$ 10 to buy, then you put on as much money as you want and it can lay still like in our case over 5 years (COVID-times...) and is still valid! And it goes for bus, train and ferry - plus Perth has CAT-buses that are free! It´s a great system! In Braunschweig I only know it is valid for a year and if you don´t use it your money is gone...
Ces photos sont très belles...
Our weather is not warm yet and it should be happening real soon. We change our clocks this weekend. Stay warm!
That's a gorgeous morning sky. Love it!
Beautiful capture.
I like the fonts on the signage.
Worth a Thousand Words
I know that street well. I spent a lot of time in the library when I was a kid. My cousin worked in the red brick building, I can't remember what he did now. And I remember when the coffee bar opened, we thought it was so exotic and sophisticated :)
Magic colours.
Delivery service is hard work specifically regarding the traffic on Swiss high ways. These men and women often work during the night. They finish work when the last parcel is delivered. As I don't like to drive, I wouldn't want to do this job. At least they have navigation devices nowadays. Imagine finding an address in the middle of Zurich! Horrible. ;-) All the best! Regula
Amazing sky view. Loved the post.
Beautiful sky. Storms just keep getting more intense making me think that mother earth is not happy.
Some people work very hard all the time like the man you feature. I love all the colour in your post.
We have a wonderful delivery person and I know he works long hours! Not a job I would want, but I appreciate his work. Thank you for linking up.
