Xmas decorations

Greymouth has 3 main streets in town. On the way home from work at night I've been stopping to take photos of some of the shop window decorations. It's good to see businesses getting into the Christmas spirit. Please remember: I live in a small town, all shops except supermarkets close around 6pm so there aren't many people around in these photos at 8pm.

So, sorry for the name change of this blog, I just thought it was time for a change. Please update your blog address for me.

Welcome Blue Day 😍😍
I remember those deserted streets in Te Puke. Except for Friday night. But even they didn't stay open very late.
It seemed a little strange after Greek nights.
Good tome for slowly wandering though

It is good to see how you evolve your blog over time. Love the originality

LOL, your banner. I came from 7 months traveling Australia and there was a construction site with a provisional round about - not common in Germany.
There I sat in my car and didn´t know how to go through - left, right??? No other car so it would not matter. My friend: "What are you waiting for" - gosh that was in 2000 and I still remember that!
Thank you for letting me know you moved!
Your "About Me" pic looks crooked here.
Nice decos.
I grew up in a town like that. My Brother also closes at 6p.m. like most and has a break from 1-3.
Glad I live in Braunschweig now. Our REWE has open 24/5 - not that I EVER went after 8pm...

Our town closes up early too. I hardly see any people except when I'm waiting for a bus. I like the new name of your blog.

A beautiful series of the first Christmas decorations.
I almost exclusively photograph in nature. And when it comes to Christmas decorations, I prefer using natural materials.

...Amy, I get confused easily and when I saw the new name, I didn't if it were you!

I was wondering why you changed the name Amy? Blue Day I suppose that could be a postitive or negative thought. Lot os Christmas decorations in your post today. I hope you have a great week ahead.

Certainly more going for it than tiny Havelock.

Blue day is indeed a name that needs some explanation. It took me a while to figure it out, but I see that several other people have also noticed how sparsely populated New Zealand is in your photos. It would be a wonderful task to bring about change in that area in the new year.
